Sermons from January 2021
For the next two weeks the journey of Altared Lives will camp out in Luke 9-12. We discovered last week that this world will always bring trouble. The next two weeks we will learn our story, how we contribute to that trouble, and God’s navigation system through it.
The Altared Life is a walk of faith. This message looks at three different faces of faith that will give us hope in the real world that we are living in now.
The altar is the place where the divine and human worlds interact. Altars are a memorial of the places where God meets us and “alters” our lives. No one leaves the “altar” unchanged.
Do-Over: a new attempt or opportunity to do something after a previous attempt has been unsuccessful or unsatisfactory. After a brutal 2020, we now proclaim a “do-over” in 2021!
